Too difficult to read text, art styles aren't cohesive, the music doesn't match the visual presentation, etc. A muddled color palette to communicate confusion or sadness would be considered highly rated here despite being uncomfortable to experience. This category isn't meant to consider the quality of the art (beauty is in the eye of the beholder) but rather if the entire package feels like it goes together correctly and has the correct accessibility options. You can't, for example, play offline a bit, then join in with a friend online and have both people progress. No local co-op, and the online co-op uses the character data from the host only. That way they could all fit on a quick select screen and have permanent locations instead of shuffling in and out as you use them. This could easily have been amended by having a secondary wheel, something like hold RB to pull up wheel, RB+RT to pull up secondary wheel. The quick select wheel also only keeps the last few forms you used. Changing forms with the wheel doesn't stop or slow gameplay and so can be dangerous. The soundtrack is a bit limited, but similarly I found myself enjoying it. The visual style might be a bit polarizing, but I personally quite like it. The new game+ mode also changes things up rather than just having you complete the same game again. You can probably get by finishing half of the quests and dungeons. There's also a significant amount of extra content that's not necessary to complete the game. The game directs you to interesting interactions between your abilities as you progress as well. You're constantly unlocking new forms and abilities. They manage to essentially turn level grinding into one of the most fun aspects of the game. 90% PCThis ARPG takes very little time to get moving and introduce you to the core gameplay loops.
