

Wondering why God will highlight these short verses to me, I couldn’t help but realise that there’s some richness in these verses God wants to pour into us. Therefore it was somewhat surprising that I found myself drifting into Isaiah 53, where we get an accurate depiction of the life, humiliation, suffering and finally, the exaltation of Christ. It is referring to the one Spirit through seven main channels of Light! These are the witnesses to the then known world that Jesus is both Lord and Christ. I believe it is relative to the seven churches that are mentioned in chapters 2 and 3. These are, in my opinion, the seven spirits or angels that were sent to the 7 churches of Asia Minor in Revelation 2 and 3.

Revelation 1:4 says “Grace be unto you, and peace, from Him which is, and which was, and is to come and from the seven Spirits which are before His throne and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness…” Since we know there is only one Spirit (the Holy Spirit) which dwells in us, who are the seven Spirits spoken of in this verse?
